Area Sales Manager - Acute Care & Clinical Nursing Sales

Territory: Western PA, Eastern Ohio, and West Virginia area

Call Points: Critical Care, selling to Nurses, Hospital wide sales. 

Product Portfolio: Acute care devices

Comp: $75K base, $205K at plan, uncapped, 401K, benefits, expenses, mileage reimbursement.

Overview of the Role:

The Acute Care & Clinical Nursing Area Sales Manager will be responsible for covering all sales functions related Critical care/OR portfolio products within the Western PA, Eastern Ohio, and West Virginia area. This position is ideal for someone who can successfully manage long sales cycles with multiple decision makers in Acute Care/Hospital.  

Major Accountabilities:

Analyze the local market, develop sales strategies, and effectively execute plans to meet or exceed sales quotas and profit & growth objectives.

Identify organic growth opportunities within the existing customer base and work on a strategy to close those opportunities.

Secure Key Opinion Leader contacts. Develop clinical relationships that engage physicians and medical staff in support of product evaluations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately forecast sales revenues and unit volumes for rolling 30-60-90 day forecasts.

Conduct sales product presentations and in-service training to nursing personnel and medical staff within the Acute Care market. 

Competently demonstrate value propositions of product offerings to stakeholders and more.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or a related field.

Medical Device sales experience with the ability to obtain and maintain hospital credentialing is required.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Medical Device sales position is required. Must have experience calling on Acute Care Nursing, Critical care units, Patient Floors.

Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally.
